A couple weeks ago (before all this snow!), my mom and I decided to brave the wild and spend the night up at the Maatman hunting cabin near Mecosta, MI with our husbands. There's no electricity, no running water, and no bathroom! They get by with a water pump, gas lights and an outhouse. There actually is a stove and refrigerator that runs on gas too, so it's not so bad. Anyway, here are some pics from our adventures up at the "Mecosta Hilton" (as Dave's family so lovingly calls it)!
