Just wanted to let everyone know that Treshia & I went to have our 20-week ultrasound yesterday and found out that we are having a BOY!! (Name to be determined later, sorry)
We do have a couple "concerns" that we would like to pass on and ask you to pray for:
One, instead of two arteries in his umbilical cord, he only has one, meaning he "could" suffer from malnutrition and be born small. There are babies born all the time with one umbilical artery with no complications, but there still is a chance he could stop growing and we would then need to get him out early.
Two, his left kidney has filled up with fluid much faster than it should at this point, meaning he probably has some sort of blockage in the tube running from the kidney to his bladder. This could resolve itself very easily, or could continue and possibly cause damage to that kidney. The worst case scenario would be that he would lose function of that kidney, and have to live his life with only one kidney, but we are praying that the Lord clears the blockage and we see a perfectly healthy kidney at our next ultrasound in six weeks.
Thanks again for your prayers and excitement with us! We are VERY excited to add a new little wiggle bug (he wiggled like CRAZY during the ultrasound!) to our nest!!!

AWESOME!!! :) Congratulations! That is so cool. I'll definitely be praying for his potential complications... and I'll have my Bible study group pray too. :) I am so happy for you guys though... children are such a blessing!
